Nestorov Island

Nestorov Island is a small rocky island located off the northeast coast of Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands, Antarctica. It was named after Captain Ivan Nestorov who compiled a 1985 report on the Southwest Atlantic fisheries. He was part of the pioneering Antarctic fishing industry of Bulgaria, the Soviet Union, Poland and East Germany.
