Compilation

Hits (compilation series)

Hits is a compilation album series that ran from 1984 to 2006 in the UK and parts of Europe. It was created as a rival to the Now That's What I Call Music series and initially achieved success, but experienced a decline in sales in 1989. The series was briefly retired and rebranded, but was relaunched in 1995 and continued until 2006 when it could no longer compete with Now That's What I Call Music.
