Planning

Planning

Planning is the process of thinking about activities to achieve a desired goal, based on foresight and intelligent behavior. It involves using logic and imagination to visualize the end result and the steps needed to get there. Planning is related to forecasting, which predicts what the future will look like, while planning imagines what it could be. It is used in many professional occupations to measure progress, efficiency and effectiveness, and can be modified or abandoned as circumstances change.
