U-Net is a convolutional neural network designed for biomedical image segmentation. It was developed at the University of Freiburg and is based on the fully convolutional network. U-Net has been modified to work with fewer training images and produce more accurate segmentations, with the ability to segment a 512x512 image in less than a second on a modern GPU.
