Focusing

Focusing (psychotherapy)

Focusing is a psychotherapeutic process developed by Eugene Gendlin which involves holding an open, non-judging attention to an internal knowing. It can be used to gain clarity on feelings and wants, obtain new insights, and stimulate change or healing. It is set apart from other methods by its "felt sense", engaged accepting attention, and researched-based technique.
