Magnetic storage is a form of non-volatile memory used to store data on a magnetized medium. It is commonly used to store computer data, audio and video signals, and is found in items such as hard disks, floppy disks, magnetic tape, and credit cards. It is distinguished from other forms of storage by its use of magnetization patterns.
