Chance the Rapper, born Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer from Chicago. He gained mainstream recognition with his mixtapes Acid Rap and Coloring Book, which earned him three Grammy Awards. In addition to his solo career, he is a member of the Chicago collective Savemoney and is involved in social activism in his hometown.
