Wi-Fi Protected Access

Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) and Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3) are security certification programs developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance to secure wireless computer networks. WPA was released in 2003, followed by WPA2 in 2004 and WPA3 in 2018, each offering improved security over the previous version.
