Duality is a concept in mathematics, philosophy and other fields which suggests that two seemingly opposite ideas can be complementary. It is often used to describe the relationship between different aspects of something, such as good and evil, or light and dark. Duality can also refer to the state of having two parts or components that together form a whole.
