Visual perception

Visual perception is the ability to interpret the environment using light reflected by objects. It is different from visual acuity, which measures how clearly a person sees. The physiological components involved in vision are collectively known as the visual system and are studied in fields such as linguistics, psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, and molecular biology.
