Probability distributions are used to describe the likelihood of certain outcomes in a given situation. These distributions have been given specific names to make them easier to identify and reference. Examples include the normal distribution, binomial distribution, and Poisson distribution.

Sophomore mathematical maturity and programming experience equivalent to an Advanced Placement Computer Science A exam are prerequisites.
