System on a chip

System on a Chip is an integrated circuit that combines most or all components of a computer or other electronic system onto a single substrate or microchip. It integrates a CPU, memory interfaces, input/output devices, and secondary storage interfaces, as well as radio modems and a GPU. SoCs are used in mobile computing, edge computing, and embedded systems.
