Domain Name System Security Extensions

DNSSEC is a suite of extension specifications by the IETF for securing data exchanged in DNS. It provides cryptographic authentication, denial of existence and data integrity, but not availability or confidentiality. DNSSEC is used to protect IP networks from malicious attacks.
