Intel SGX

Software Guard Extensions

Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) is a set of security-related instruction codes built into some Intel CPUs. It allows user-level and OS code to define protected memory regions called enclaves, which are encrypted by the CPU. SGX can be used for secure remote computation, DRM, and concealing proprietary algorithms and encryption keys.
