Grids

Grid (graphic design)

A grid is a structure used in graphic design to organize content in a rational and easy-to-absorb manner. It consists of intersecting straight or curved lines, and can be used to organize elements on a page, relative to each other, or relative to other parts of the same element. The term "reference grid" is an unrelated printing system.
