Fractals

Fractal

Fractals are geometric shapes containing detailed structure at arbitrarily small scales, with a fractal dimension that is greater than its topological dimension. They are characterized by self-similarity and can be found in nature, technology, art, architecture and law. Fractals are also important in chaos theory, as they often show up in the geometric depictions of chaotic processes.
