A partial differential equation (PDE) is an equation that relates the partial derivatives of a multivariable function. It is often impossible to find explicit formulas for solutions, so numerical approximation methods are used. PDEs have applications in various scientific fields and there are different types of PDEs with specialized subfields of study.

This is an intensive course on computer graphics, covering a variety of topics such as rendering, animation, and imaging. It requires previous knowledge in vector calculus, linear algebra, and C/C++ programming. Concepts include ray tracing, radiometry, and geometric optics, among others.
